I have visited this web site many times and found a wealth of information I own a 2005 Vector ER Have owned Yamaha sleds since Oct 1979 Looked at other brands over the years but just can t walk away from quality
love your forum. I may have joined to post some comments but just cant figure out how to get through. Seems like a great bunch. Looking to get a big turbo and would like to learn and contribute whenever possible. Been snowmobiling and racing since the early 70s. Please help......
Cool site! First time visiting. A lot of good information and it looks like the TY group has a great time on their rides!
I'm building a 700 mountian sled. Using 19cc mountain performance head on a 1997 700cc engine, triple psi coated pipes, roller secondary and trick primary. 20/42 gears, welded crank, porting, reed spacers. Current version making big horsepower. Adding boss noss for next year. Changing the tunnel to mountain performance and the track to a camoplast 162, 16, 2.3. Changing all front end parts to lightweight. This years version used a Boss seat and Diamond s fabric hood. Trying to get ot 450 # and 180 hp on the button. Any advice welcome. Alvin

i have a mm700 with bender pipes peak heads v-force 2 reeds airbox mod 19-40 gears, if anybody has the specs. for clutching or suggestions let me know.
great site I have a mtn max 700 most of it is custom with after market. Any one with a peak head have any problems with the top seal breaking, cuz mine does. Oh yeah I got about 15,000 miles on, this is my eveyday machine in Alaska.
Formerly rode Ski-Doo,but for 05 I decided to jump ship and join the 4Stroke generation.Great site keep up the good work
can a 600mm suspension fit on a v-max 700sx short track?
Great job on your site. I think I'll be a frequent visitor here. I presently have an '04 warrior, '00 SXR 700, '89 exciter, '87 V-max,'85 V-max, and an '81 SRX. Needless to say I could make good use of the information sharing here. I currently am researching pipes for the warrior as well as an other weight reducing products.
Nice Site! I have a question re: Codes on a 98 mm 600. Code 13. one long 3 short, I heard it was a temp sensor non continuity code, we change the water temp sensor ant no change. Is there a reset ? Thanks in advance. Glenn
I would like to know if anyone else has had a crank bearing problem with the 2003 V-max 600? I have had my sled's inner bearing sieze with only 1,500 miles on the engine riding it for the second season. Please comment.
First time on this site looks great. but would like to know where to go on your site to ask someone questions about a 98 700 srx with a twisted crankshaft. need some advice. I just bought an RX Warrior but dont want to junk the srx
My Yami 600 beat the Ski doo MXZ670 on the lake this year and it smokes all other 600's U know what YAMAHA Means dont u? You And Me Are Haulin Ass !!!
My sx viper is top of the line lol!!!!!!!!
I have 4 Yamaha's with pro action suspensions all of the Y forks in the front of the rear suspension have cracked or failed. My dealer tells me this has never been a problem before but with aywhere from 1700 to 4300 miles on the sleds I'm concerned. I've owned Yamahas since 1973 and am upset that they will not do anything under extended warranties. The sleds are 2002 V max & Viper & SX 600 and a 2003 Viper. Anyone else have this problem?
Great site, nice sleds i check out your site often your hard work pays off
Totallyamaha is the best web-site on the information super highway.....2 thumbs up
I just found your site and I think its great keep up the good work Rick
awsome site, somewhat difficult to get around and find info thou awsome
Awesome website! It is very addicting! I love Yamaha snowmobiles. Yamaha is lightyears ahead of everyone else. My dad has a 2002 Viper and it is absolutely awesome! He also has a '77 250, '79 440, '99 Phazer, and a 2001 Phazer. They all work great, and still look brand new.
I just bought a new RX Warrior and absolutely love it. Excellent on the lake and in the trails.
Great web site very imformative. Thanks
just got here will comment later
first off i would like to say that totallyamaha.com rocks. you have lots of helpful technical info. i just bought an srx, added v-force reeds, cold air intake, and silencer. thanks to the website i was able to fumble through the testing and tuning portion of making my srx a sonic blue rocket. thanks for all of your help. if it aint blue it isnt worth having.
Nice site, but I've had some difficulty getting on the RX1 forum. Also how can i advertise my company on your website. My company is Sign options and we do wild graphics for anything, we even wrapped a 2004 Warrior of ours and it is awesome. Everyone thinks its carbon fiber hood with airbrushed graphics. Call me or email me Sign Options Joe 312-842-7200
GREAT WEBSITE AND GREAT INFORMATION!
It's finally nice to see all the Yamaha owners out there. I thought I was the only freak!
AWESOME SITE. ITS SAFE TO SAY I'M ADDICTED. I ALSO HAVE A QUESTION. IS IT A COMMON THING FOR POWER VALVES ON A 2002 SRX TO LEAK AFTER STORAGE AFTER THE FIRST START UP.
This site is very addictive, I just entered into the snowmobile sport and through regular visits to TY, was able to develope a good understanding of how my machines work. You may want to consider a new catagory, "TY anonymous", my wife is starting to worry. srx_eh

My brother and i have owned over a total of 12 yamahas and not one of the has ever let us down out on the trails. we are from eden,ny.I ride a 1998 SXs 700 the last of the red rockets, and my brother has 1998 SRX 600. You can not beat a yamaha for dependability.Matter of fact i have never fouled a plug in my SXs yet and i bought it brand new,it has 6000 miles on the meter! if that doesnt say something about a yamaha nothing does.its all i will ever own period. THE BEST YAMAHA SLED SITE ON THE THE NET AND THE NAME SAYS IT ALL TOTALYAMAHA!

Great Website
looking for info on 1997 venture 2up
I just ran across a 1995 V-Max 600 with 900 miles on it. It looks like to was never riden. I bought it as well as a 1987 Phazer and trailer. I got it very cheap and the phazer only has 1100 miles on it. I have a friend with a 94 600 that runs pretty well and I remember last year it was a gas HOG!!!!! Do you have any advise on why his is a HOG and should I expect the same. If all I can do is dump it I will and can and I'm sure I'll make an extra $800-900. Help!!! Ed Elmhurst, Illinois
