Sled: '93 Yamaha Phazer II LE

Nickname: Mars_man 

Info :  "I bought it in January 2000.  It had 3700 km's.  It now has 9900 km's with not a single problem, except for the T.O.R.S, which I disconnected after it gave me trouble, I also put in a new battery in 2000. That's It!  Talk about a dependable machine!  It does have a PSI Bottle Pipe.  The pipe really helped the top end, my sled now powers up to 145 kph with authority.  Not bad for a fan-cooled sled!   I have cut the stock windshield to a lower height because I kept hitting my head on it when coming off a jump.  When I bought it, the struts were a little dented, so I bought some Bender strut  covers.  These are very thick and still look good after a couple of hits.    I have also added an Aaen hot air outlet  duct to send the hot under hood air out of the engine compartment.  It works very well.  I will most likely upgrade this machine for something liquid cooled in the next couple of years.  I would love finding a nice used Exciter II SX,  maybe next year..."
