TY Appreciation and Demo Ride March 2nd 2007

This year is coming to a close and with that comes the TY Demo appreciation ride. The snow was deep, the tails were fairly nice and the people were the best!! As the snow was falling Thursday eve and I dredged my way to Munising at 25 mph in near white-out conditions with the Yamahas Demo team on my tail, I thought about how fun this weekend is going to be. I was right.. it was a BLAST… The demos rides Friday morning got off to late start as the Yamaha trailer could not push on thru the storm. They funneled as many riders as they could that afternoon and picked it up again on Sat to finish out demo session before opening it to the public. Since we had time to kill on Friday morning, we headed out for a ride with Rob from Yamaha. Terry (NOSPro) was kind enough to let him use his spare sled. Friday eve we headed out for dinner at Foggys with the Yamaha Demo team and Rob from Yamaha; Big thanks to Rob for dinner. After returning from dinner, Rob brought the 08 FX Nytro to the heated garage. We all had a chance to get close and personal with that bad boy….. Awesome!!!! It was unreal of Yamaha to allow us to be able to experience something like that. Sat after the final demo rides, we broke off into groups. Some went off trail and some of us head south to the Jack Pine for lunch. Finished out Sat with some great trail riding and headed in for some dinner at Sydney’s. At Sydney’s we had a great turnout with 40 people including the Yamaha demo team. We all wished RichieRich happy B-day with a surprise sundae and a nice big happy b-day song….then onto the garage for more entertainment to finish off the trip!!!
