We had a great early season ride and it seems we just cant get enough of this winter stuff.

After eating breakfast at the hotel Friday we took a group North towards Shingleton. The snow was blowing so hard that we had to stop and reassess our route. We decided to go to Seney instead of Grand Marias. With near zero visibility, it appeared to have less blowing snow in that direction and turned out to be a great call. Trails were excellent as the Seney area does an outstanding job grooming. After lunch in Seney, we took some short cuts and headed back to the hotel for a nice over all ride considering what we started with weather wise.

On Saturday, a few different groups headed south to the Big Springs. We had some lunch at Big Springs Inn and headed back out North then East towards the Jack Pine and then finally over to the Haywire Trail. Trails were in great shape and we were making good time so we decided to add a few more miles on by going to the Miners Castle and over to Christmas area before heading back.
